URGENT CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS – Emergency Shelter Support

Sturgeon Lake First Nation – Emergency Shelter Support

As the tri-communities of La Ronge, Air Ronge, Lac La Ronge and surrounding areas are being evacuated due to wildfires, Sturgeon Lake First Nation will be opening a community shelter at the Community Hall to support evacuees.
We are in immediate need of volunteers to assist with the following:

🛻 Transportation Help Needed:
* Volunteers with trucks to pick up cots, blankets, and pillows from PAGC Cultural Centre, located at 1511 9th Ave. West, in Prince Albert and deliver them to Sturgeon Lake Community Hall. The meeting time is 10 pm tonight.

On-Site Support Needed:
* Volunteers to help set up cots and supplies inside SLFN’s Community Hall.

For more information, contact SLFN Emergency Response Coordinator Cory Krahenbil at (306) 361-4230.

Your support is greatly appreciated as we come together to help our friends and relatives in this time of need.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
